I am a deviant Death Eater. I don't care about pure blood, but about pure art. Mwa ha ha and all that. If you're here because I commented, and/or Fav'd, then you know that my critiques are harsh. Please remember that I'm a Death Eater. It is my job to be evil. I'm also a snob. That I've decided to add your work to my "collection" is the sincerest form of flattery I can think of. I do not "nick-pick" merely for the "joy" of pointing out possible flaws (as I would find that rather tedious) but because I hope that my thoughts will give the artist another perspective to think about it. Whether or not they do anything with what I say is up to them.

The ultimate goal here is to have the highest quality collection of Harry Potter Fan art available. This collection is in my Favorites, not my own art. It is unfortunate that I cannot put my Favorites at the top of the page, as I would wish to do. Please enjoy the "Gallery," and if you've seen something that you think would live up to my standards, feel free to leave a link.

A long time has passed since my last post. Life continues as is the rule, and I am a part of life.

I am out wandering the galleries again, looking for good art. I cannot tell you how tired I am of seeing anime style drawings. While I understand that it is easier to get clearer and self-pleasing results with the stylizations of anime, its also much more difficult to get anything interesting and/or unique. It seems to be so much more about the telling of a story as quickly as possible than the enjoyment of the story, the medium, the exploration of the world of composition.

Bah. Super-flat is over-done, much like impressionism.

Such is the way of art.

I'm still out there looking. Keep trying. Learn to enjoy your art, not just your ideas, and you might just get somewhere.
